Best Lap Time 1:47.002 (So close to a 1:46!!!)My friend Kyle Childers is driving and Brian Goodwin is the passenger. The unofficial silver turbo Porsche club passes us and near the end of the video an impolite Mitsu Evo offroads and chucks a cone at my vehicle. Car specs: Stock 2006 Mazda MX-5 Miata w/ racing brake pads and Toyo RA-1 tires.

I’m going to take out a loan pretty soon to buy either one of these guys, and i need some help with my decision. The excuse im interested in these automobiles is because i love small cars, and these are also both relitively cheap.

I’m looking for a fun track car that has traction control. Also a little project car that i can add on parts to, to bump up the horses a little bit. The minicooper however is front wheel drive, but i heard, that wont desist it from really ripping the track up. The miata is rear wheel drive and i heard it a prety damn good sports car…

Now im also going for a conveniant vehicle. The mini cooper has more space then the miata…but at the same time, im young, and if i get a miata, i dont have to be a designated drive for everyone.

Now pricing… you have to spend around 25k on a mini cooper just to make it even worth buying. Traction control/rear slip differentials and all that junk costs a hell of a lot extra, and i also heard that the mini cooper is EXPENSIVE to maintain.

Miata i could get around 22k, and its valid there. Rear wheel drive… traction control… ready to ride..

Can anyone help me out with this decision? Possibly some owners of both automobiles…
