Wow what a day. Replaced all 4 Wheels and Rotors. Started at 9:00am and finished around 8:00pm. It was my first time doing such a job. A little harder than I thought. The front were a little easier than the rear. Some bolts were really stuck and required the assitance of my son Brandon. AFter getting done we took it for a ride and seems like it all went well. No weird noises or pulling of any kind. I enjoyed working on the car but do not know if I would attempt doing brakes again!
Not sure what my next project will be but I will let you know.
Traci and myself took a ride to Gainsville on Wednesday morning on our Miata. It was a nice peaceful ride. I had an appointment at the VA clinic at 8:00am so we left a little before 6:00am. We geot there right on time. I was only in there about 30 minutes. So by the time we were done it was still early. The Oaks Mall was still closed and there was really nothing to do there so we headed back to Jax. We put the top down on the Miata and enjoyed the breeze as we headed home. We had a good time and when we got home our son was visiting us from Orlando. So we enojoyed his company for the day!
Don’t forget to visit our Miata MX-5 World site or any of our other sites!
Performed my first oil change on my Miata. Everything went well. The oil Filter was a bear to get to but I was able to do it and all is good!
